What we look for

  • Builders, not specialists. Early hires need to ship across the stack. Specialisation comes later.
  • Founder mindset. Comfort with ambiguity, ownership without prompting, decisions when the right answer is unclear.
  • Care for the developer experience. Every line of code we ship is something a developer in Bangalore, Lagos, or Jakarta will use at 2 a.m. when something is broken. We have to give a damn.

How we'll work together

Remote-first within India, with periodic on-site weeks in Pune. Async-first communication. Direct deposit in INR via formal employment with AARLABS PRIVATE LIMITED — full statutory benefits (PF, ESIC where applicable, gratuity).

Compensation philosophy

Pre-fundraise, base salaries are modest. Equity grants are real. Post-fundraise, we'll align with Indian Series A market rates and continue to grant ESOPs to every full-time employee. We don't believe in below-market base salaries even if we don't pay top-of-market — sustainable lives matter.

Roles we expect to open in the next 6 months

  • Senior Full-Stack Engineer — Java/Spring backend, vanilla JS frontend, AWS infra. Will own the SnapDeploy core.
  • DevRel / Developer Marketing — Write tutorials, run user groups, run our YouTube channel. Will be the voice of the platform.
  • SRE / Platform Engineer — Own ECS, observability, on-call, cost optimisation. Reduce our infra bill quarter on quarter.
  • Product Designer (contract) — Polish the SnapDeploy dashboard, design the AI SmartFix UX, refresh the marketing site.
